Could I go for a male cougar please?
His feline bodice shook, the snow falling off in flakes. He stared and watched as they fell, his optics flicking to each and every flake. Streak moved slightly, but he didn;t want to give himself away, not when there is a deer standing just a few feet from him. Streak bared his long fangs, they glimmered white, but they shouldn't, Streak wanted them dripping with the crimson redness, jsut how he loved it to be, they taste, the stench was thriving. He crouched low, doig a slight crawl, rubbing his golden plt against the thick blanket of white. His auds pricked, a snap of a twig could be heard, he raised in painc and stared below him. Nothing was there, not a snapped twig below him, so who was it? The deer moved, it heard it! "d**n it!" Streak bellowed, he looked behind him only to see another predator there, but not of feline of wolf. "You had to go and ruin everything!" Streak roared as he raised his thick bulk and walked slwowly towards the wolf. He started to growl, his ivories bared, still no blood. His whipcord flicked playfully behind him as he moved, he sat in front of the wolf glaring coldly into it's eyes. "That was my meal, you seriously owe me wolf!" Streak began to walk away, tracking the slight smell of the racing deer, if it wasn't for that wolf, his maw would be covered in the sweet blood, the taste delicious. He was hungry, he went faster and faster, eager to catch that deer again, his heart thunped quicker, he began to pant, even though he was freezing cold in the icy weather. there it was! the deer! He dropped to the floor quickly, his claws extracted, they dug into the earth, blood crept from the root of them, he winced in pain. Then, he leaped, without any warning, his claws outstretched like wings, as he pounced ontot the befuddled deer's rump, blood, sweet blood! He licked it off savegly, gulping it down, as he clung still to the back of the deer, it bucked, he flew about, but nothing mattered to Streak, except the blood-

This is for a male wolf...
He stalked, his fangs dripping with saliva, his heart racing with the heat of the chase. He crept through the darkness, slithering amongst the undergrowth, constantly watching his quarry.
He rubbed along a tree, brushed past a bush, making not a sound. He watched, crouching, waiting.
His tongue slid against his carnivorous teeth, already tasting the lifeblood of his quarry. He watched, his dark, intent, and evil eyes focused unrelentlessly on the prey. His magnificent, yet malicious, body shook with the anticipation of the hunt.
Zoar walked forward, his feet crushing the new snow, sinking into the cold powder. He crouched again, moving ever so slowly towards his goal.
His inner darkness cried out to him, calling him to take life. He could hardly contain himself, wanting to let the demon go.
Only a few feet now... his muscles tensed, his cranium went into optimum mode, ready for the kill.
He pounced....All blood rushed to his front paws, his powerful body arching through the air, coming down on his innocent prey.
He tore out its throat with one rip of his maw. He slammed his foot down on its back, breaking the spine in several places.
It was over, he was satiated. A deadly silence crept onto the clearing. He glanced warily around with his optics, making sure no other predators would threaten his catch. Zoar bit through the tender flesh, revelling in the warm blood rushing into his mouth and the fresh meat crushing between his incisors.

((I'll go for a female cougar))
Slender bodice slid her way through the dense trees and thick branches. Orbits sparkled of bright blue like the sparkling waters in the sea. Beige pelt blended in with the springs surrounding. Normally she would stick out like a sore thumb when winter had arrived but now she was the perfect hue for camouflage. Large paws padded through the ground without making a noise for she had to be quiet on a hunt.
Spring meant reproduction and new life, but to her it was an easy meal to catch that could keep her on her feet for a bit longer. She had been stalking some bighorn sheep for a couple of hours, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce on her prey and tear it to shreds, but she must be patient for hunting is an art. Claws released from her pads and her fur brushed up on a twig, catching some winter fur which she needed no more. Orbs fixed on one thing only and waiting for the time.
The mother set out to graze and leaned her neck toward the surface of the terrain. The little baby was off bucking and playing with a butterfly, so innocent, what a shame that his life would soon be over before he knew it. She had not time to waste and bulged up like a spring ready to release at any moment. Within seconds she was out of her hiding place and on the baby who was desperately running for his life. With one fierce pounce she was on him and lashing her ivories at his throat. He panicked and soon was dead.
The mother watched from a distance with a horrified look and knew that she could do not more but hope that she could catch another male for a late baby. She hurried off with a terrifying scream and tears swelled in her eyes.
She smiled with the dead sheep in her maw and then pranced off to go dine in peace. She ate the meat with greed and then returned back into the woods with a loud roar to warn all others that she was the boss and she would get her way of she had wished. A cunning smile light up her face and her audits paced back and forth for any new sounds of more prey to catch, not because she was hungry but because she was bored and engoyed to hunt. She quikened her paces through the familiar woods and up near a old stone. This was her home for now but she liked to wander from place to place. She emitted one more roar with a higher pitch and then sat upon the rock like a noble staue that refused to be damaged.
Spring was the season of reproduction and new life, but for her it was a time where she would spend her moments alone. [/center]
